the Active Balanced Community Initiative offered scholarships to children who came from low income families to participate in the Creativity Camps offered at Paint Your Masterpiece in Lambertville. Ten scholarships were made available; however, only three children were identified who met the eligibility criteria.
Creativity Camp was seen as an opportunity for creating in an atmosphere that was relaxing and stress free – from which personal growth can occur. It was a time to demonstrate politeness, respect, and to develop inter-personal relationship skills.
