Task: Collect local data for indices of youth crime.

 Goal: Determine the risk factors for youth and family in the county.

On November 4, 2003, the Acitve, Balanced Community identified four risk factors for the County of Monroe Michigan based on the data presented by the Data Analysis Workgroup.

These four risk factors are:
  1. Economic Deprivation
  2. Family Confilct
  3. Academic Failure Beginning in Late Elementary
  4. Early Onset of Alcohol or Drug Abuse
