The students gathered for graduation practice.

State Rep Kate Ebli explained to the students that responsible driving saves their lives as well as the lives of those around them. Responsible driving isn't just avoiding getting behind the wheel if they are intoxicated, it also means not using the cell phone while they are driving, not texting and paying attention to the road at all times.

Kate explained why listening to the radio while you drive is not as distracting as talking on the phone while you drive. Kate encouraged the kids to volunteer in their community this summer and be sure to vote in the November election!
