In an effort to make teens more aware of how the choices we make affect others in our community, Active Balanced Community is visiting local high schools and talking to the students about responsible behavior. Every student that pledges to drive responsibly has their name entered into a drawing for a $10 gas card. On June 5th, Active Balanced Community spoke to the graduating class of Monroe High. 169 Seniors signed the pledge! Check out the pictures below.

Congratulations to the class of 2005!

The senior class of Bedford met at the school to be bussed to their senior night at the rec center. While they checked in and waited for the buses, Active Balanced community asked them to pledge to drive responsibly.

Everyone had to check-in.

Once they were all checked in, they had to wait for the buses.

While they waited, Active Balanced Community asked them to take a few minutes to pledge to drive responsibly.

Sandie explains to the students that driving responsibly includes not talking on your cell phone while you drive, keeping both your hands and your eyes on the road, not playing around with your friends while you drive, and not getting behind the wheel if you are too tired and might fall asleep.
