Active Balanced Community visited Dundee High School in Monroe county Michigan this year to ask all senior class members to pledge to drive safe and responsibly this year.

It's a tradition at Dundee High that the faculty cooks breakfast for the senior class on their last day.

Principal of Dundee High Jacqueline Schultz addressed the seniors.

United Way of Monroe’s Connie Carroll explained to the class of 2007 why it is so improtant to drive safe and responsibly. The decisions you make behind the wheel will not just affect you and the people in your car, they could affect other drivers and their familes too.

The tables where called one at a time for those wishing to make the pledge.

Waiting to sign.

While the seniors ate their breakfast, their Class of '07 video played on the big screen.

Everyone who signed received a lanyard to remind them of their pledge.

Randy Daniels (back, right) from Monroe County Community College and Rusty Davis (in the back, middle of picture) from United Way of Monroe County handed out lanyards to the seniors who signed a pledge.

All seniors that signed a pledge were eligible for a drawing for a $10 gas card. This was one of the winners.

The second lucky winner. Congratulations to everyone who pledged, for making the community a safe place.
