The Resource Assessment had the task of continued evaluation of best practices within the community. Prioritization and feasibility of implementation of various best practice programs occurred in subsequent years of the project. Recommendations for implementation were made available through the Steering Committee to community leadership, including the multi-purpose collaborative body, the United Way, and the County.
This committee provided an updated annual assessment of the agencies, programs and program needs for Monroe County youth and families. Through the development of a web-based resource system, assessments of resources and needs were done on an annual basis.
