Employment and Training SEMCA Michigan Works
The Michigan Works! Monroe County Employment and Training Department (MCETD) administers the Workforce Investment Act 1998, Welfare Reform, Employment Services, and Community Corrections programs. Monroe County Employment and Training Department/Monroe Service Center offers services that include, but are not limited to, job search/placement, career counseling, classroom training, on-the-job training and career workshops. As the operator of Monroe CountyÍs Michigan Works! Monroe Service Center, we also work to meet the personnel needs of area employers at no cost.

The Monroe County Intermediate School District (MCISD) promotes educational excellence by serving in a visionary leadership role to collaborate and facilitate improvement of school programs and services.
